Hybliss pillow: Care InstructionsUpdated 2 years ago
1. Hand-Washing Preferred: If possible, hand wash your silk eyemask gently using cold water. Use a mild, non-alkaline soap or baby shampoo. Avoid soaking the mask for a prolonged period, instead, cleanse it quickly and gently.
2. Machine-Washing: If you need to machine wash, use the gentlest cycle available. Ensure to place the mask inside a mesh laundry bag for added protection. Use a detergent suitable for silk.
3. Bleach-Free Detergent: Never use bleach or any bleach-based product on your silk eyemask as this will damage the fibers.
4. Drying: Do not wring or twist the silk to remove water. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water, then lay the mask flat on a clean, dry towel. Roll the towel up to absorb more water, then leave the mask to air dry completely.
5. Avoid Heat: Avoid placing the silk eyemask in direct sunlight or near heaters to dry, as excessive heat can damage silk. Similarly, do not use a clothes dryer.
6. Ironing: If your silk eyemask requires ironing, always use the lowest setting. Consider using a cloth between the iron and the mask for additional protection. Iron while the mask is slightly damp for best results.
